Telangana Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today lashed out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu for adopting "double standards" on defections.
Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday, Yadav accused Naidu of indulging in "unethical" politics.
He said that Naidu's harsh words had pained him when he had left the TDP to join the TRS.
"So why is Naidu now himself encouraging poaching? He should tell us how many crores he offered to those who joined the TDP from the YSR Congress Party on Monday night," he demanded.
Yadav said that it was not right for a Chief Minister to use the kind of heinous words that Naidu did. He also said that Naidu always made false claims of ethical politics.
The minister also asked Naidu whether he would now ask the new leaders who entered the TDP fold to contest polls afresh by resigning to their MLA/MLC posts.
Having first promised his electorate the moon but not delivering on anything, Naidu was now showing stars to the people of Andhra Pradesh by promising to construct the capital city on the lines of Singapore and Malaysia, Yadav said, pointing out that no buildings had come up so far despite almost two years of State's formation.
