The Telugu New Year starting on April 2 (Ugadi) is all set to bring cheer to the large number of job aspirants in the state, as the notifications for the promised recruitment to government jobs in different departments are expected to be released from around that day.
The upcoming year, named "Subhakruthu" (auspicious events), will be indeed auspicious for the job seekers, as nearly 81,000 jobs are expected to be offered during the year, with notifications coming out in 3-4 phases.
In all probability, the first notification for the filling up of approximately 40,000 posts will be released on Ugadi, or one or two days later.
According to official sources, following the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's announcement in the Legislative Assembly in the recent session about the filling of all the vacant posts, the authorities have started an exercise to identify the vacant posts in each department, and it is being said that nearly ten departments including Medical and Health, Home, Agriculture and Panchayat Raj have already sent the recruitment proposals to the finance department for its clearance, while other departments are expected to finalise their proposals in the next few days.
As soon as the clearance from the Chief Minister is received, the notifications are expected to be released.
Sources say that the recruitment process might take 4 or 5 months, and the posting orders might be issued by around September for the first batch of aspirants, given that two months may be given for the examination and the valuation of papers after that may take another 2-3 months given the large number of applicants expected.
The second and third notifications might be released in a month or two after the first notification, and in all probability the total process of recruitment might be completed by the end of December or a little later.
