YSRCP leaders Konathala Ramakrishna and Bajireddy Govardhan on Friday said that farmers and weavers are being neglected by the current state government, and that the former have good days waiting for them.
The YSRCP delegation that went to Siricilla assured the weavers not to lose heart, and that the party will take up their issues. Commiserating the suicide of a weaver who was unable to pay the power bill, Govardhan said the state should take total responsibility for his death.
While YSR has took total care of the weavers and farmers, the state government has been burdening them by imposing power cuts and abnormal hike in power charges, besides cutting the input subsidies, said Govardhan.
There was hike in power charges during YSR term and this government has been burdening the customer heavily, they said. (INN)
