Stage Set For Telangana MLC Polls On Sunday
The GHMC has made elaborate arrangements for the MLC election on March 22, 2015, for the Graduates Constituency of Mahaboobnagar, Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has made elaborate arrangements for the conduct of the MLC election to be held on Sunday for the Graduates Constituency of Mahaboobnagar, Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad.
A total of 31 candidates are in the fray. As many as 2,86,311 voters will exercise their franchise at 413 polling stations in the three districts. These include 97 polling stations in Mahabubnagar with 66,100 voters, 165 polling stations in Ranga Reddy with 1,33,003 voters and 151 polling stations in Hyderabad with 87,208 voters.
For the 151 polling stations in the Hyderabad district, about 894 polling personal have been drafted, including 182 Presiding Officers, 182 Asst. Presiding Officers and 364 other polling officers (with 20% excess/buffer), and 166 Micro Observers (with 10% excess/buffer).
The GHMC is also providing a strong room at the Victory Playground at Chadherghat, and making arrangements for counting with 28 tables.
Polling for the Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal constituency will also be held on Sunday.
For the first time, the voters of the graduates constituencies will have the option of using NOTA on the ballot paper.
