Special Narsapur-Nagarsol trains will run between December 8 2010 and January 13 2011, and the Grand Trunk Express will make an additional stop at Bapatla now.
SCR introduces 12 special trains, additional stop for GT Express
The South Central Railway (SCR) will have special trains running between Narsapur and Nagarsol from December 8 to January 13 in order to clear the extra rush of passengers.
Accordingly, train no. 07119, Narsapur–Nagarsol special train, will leave Narsapur at 10:45am on December 8, 15, 22 and 29 of 2010, and January 5 and 12 of 2011 (Wednesdays), and arrive at Nagarsol at 9:00am on the next days.
In the return direction, train no. 07120, Nagarsol-Narsapur special train, will leave Nagarsol at 11:00am on December 9, 16, 23 and 30 of 2010, and January 6 and 13 of 2011 (Thursdays), and arrive at Narsapur at 10:45am the next days.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Palakolu, Verasavaram, Bhimavaram, Bhimavaram Town, Akiveedu, Kaikaluru, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Mudhkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbahni, Jalna and Auranagabad.
These special trains will have one AC 3-tier, one AC 2-tier, 10 sleeper class, 2 general second class and 2 second class luggage-cum-brake-van coaches, totalling 16 coaches.
Meanwhile, the SCR has provided stoppage for the Chennai – New Delhi – Chennai Grand Trunk Express at Bapatla with effect from December 15, 2010, on an experimental basis, for a period of 6 months.
Accordingly, train no. 2615 Chennai – New Delhi Grand Trunk Express will arrive and depart from Bapatla at 12:15am and 12:16am. In the return direction, train no. 2616 New Delhi – Chennai Grand Trunk Express will arrive and depart from Bapatla at 12:25am and 12:26am.
