The South Central Railway announces a weekly express train from H S Nanded to Amritsar.
As announced in the Railway Budget 2012-13, the South Central Railway will introduce Train no. 12421 / 12422 H S Nanded - Amritsar - H S Nanded Weekly Super Fast Express, with effect from the 15th of May.
The inaugural run of the H S Nanded-Amritsar Weekly Super Fast will be flagged off by MP Bhaskarrao Patil Khatgaonkar at 11am, on 15th May. The train will arrive at 10pm in Amritsar the next day.
This train will depart from H S Nanded on Wednesdays on its regular run.
In the return direction, Train No. 12422 Amritsar - H S Nanded Weekly Super Fast Express will depart from Amritsar on Mondays at 2:30pm, and will arrive at H S Nanded at 11:45pm the next day.
Enroute, these trains will stop at Purna, Hingoli, Washim, Akola, Malkapur, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra Cant., New Delhi, Rohatak, Jakhal, Sangrur, Dhuri, Ludhiana, Phagwara, Jalandhar and Beas.
The trains will have 16 coaches viz, one A/C II Tier, one A/C III Tier, six sleeper coaches, six general second class coaches, and two second class luggage cum brake van coaches. (INN)
