To clear the extra rush passengers during festive season, SCR runs special trains between Tiruchchirappalli, and Sai Nagar Shirdi.
In order to clear the extra rush of passengers during the ensuing festival season, the South Central Railway will run 12 special trains between Tiruchchirappalli and Sai Nagar Shirdi.
As per the schedule,
- Train No. 06806, Tiruchchirappalli - Sai Nagar, Shirdi Weekly Special Train, will depart from Tiruchchirappalli at 4pm on October 7, 14, 21, 28 and on November 4, 11 (Mondays), and arrive at Sai Nagar Shirdi at 3.25am on Wednesdays.
- In the opposite direction, Train No. 06805, Sai Nagar Shirdi - Tiruchchirappalli, Weekly Special Train, will depart from Sai Nagar Shirdi at 8.25am on October 9, 16, 23, 30 and November 6, 13 (Wednesdays), and arrive at Tiruchchirappalli at 3.15p on Thursdays.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Srirangam, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Tambaram, Chennai Egmore, Arakkonam, Tiruttani, Puttur, Renigunta, Koduru, Rajampet, Cuddapah, Yerraguntla, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Adoni, Manthralayam Rd, Raichur, Yadgir, Wadi, Solapur, and Daund stations in both directions.
These special trains will have 20 coaches - 1 A / C II tier, 2 A / C III Tier, 13 sleeper class, 2 general II class, and 2 luggage cum brake van coaches. (INN)
