Sisters Tie Rakhis To CM KCR At Pragathi Bhavan
Raksha Bandhan celebrations were held today at Pragathi Bhavan, the official residence of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Raksha Bandhan celebrations were held on Friday at Pragathi Bhavan, the official residence of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
On the occasion, KCR's elder sisters Lalithamma, Lakshmamma and Jayamma, and younger sister Vinodamma, tied him rakhis and took his blessings in some heart-warming scenes. Earlier, KCR's wife Shobhamma invited her sisters-in-law in a traditional manner.
KCR's daughter and legislator K Kavitha too tied a rakhi to her brother and minister K T Rama Rao. KTR's wife Shailima and other family members were also present.
The grandson and granddaughter of the CM (the son and daughter of K T Rama Rao) too participated in the celebrations, with Alekhya tying a rakhi to her brother Himanshu.
KTR is yet to recover fully from a minor leg injury he suffered due to a fall at his residence last month. Doctors had advised him rest for some days.
Meanwhile, KTR took to Twitter to share some old photographs of the brother-sister bond. Posting a childhood photograph with Kavitha, he wrote, "Some bonds are so special."
He also shared an old picture of his daughter and son celebrating Raksha Bandhan.
Elsewhere, several ministers had TRS women leaders tying rakhis to them. And the Brahmakumaris met ministers Koppula Eshwar and Errabelli Dayakar Rao and tied them rakhis. They also invited the ministers to an international yoga convention to be held at Mount Abu in September.
