The Congress High Command is likely to take serious action against former MP Siricilla Rajaiah following the incident in which his daughter-in-law and her three sons were allegedly burnt alive in Warangal.
It is likely that the AICC may take a decision to suspend him over the gory deaths which may tarnish the image of the Party and reduce its chances of winning the Warangal Lok Sabha by-election scheduled for November 21, especially given that the incident also resulted in Rajaiah and his family members landing behind bars.
Though Rajaiah withdrew from the Warangal by-election fray and another former MP Sarve Satyanarayana is contesting the election on the Congress ticket, the deaths may still mar the chances of the Party's victory. The Telangana Congress leaders are certainly not happy with the incident. And probably at the behest of the State Congress leaders, the AICC may take a decision to axe Rajaiah though he did not indulge in any anti-Party activities.
The post-mortem report is yet to divulge the details of the incident.
