Former minister Shatrucharla Vijayarama Raju and Congress MLA Janardhan Natraj joined the Telugu Desam Party on Sunday.

They joined the party in the presence of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking to media representatives later, they claimed that only Naidu could develop the Seemandhra region as he had developed the Hyderabad city.

They said that they will contest the next elections on a TDP ticket from any constituency selected by the TDP chief. They denied that their entry into TDP was based on some pre-existing agreement. (INN)
