YSR Congress leader Sharmila will cover seven assembly constituencies in Mahabubnagar district as part of her "Maro Praja Prasthanam" padayatra.
Sharmila will enter Mahabubnagar district on Nov 22, beginning her padayatra in the Telangana region. She will walk a distance of 225 km in the district.
Padayatra coordination committee member Talasila Raghu Ram, Mahabubnagar district party convener Krishna Reddy and party Central Governing Council (CGC) member K Mahendar Reddy told reporters that Sharmila would enter the district at Tungabhadra Bridge around 1pm and set off on her walkathon.
After covering Mahabubnagar, Ranga Reddy and Nalgonda districts, Sharmila will lead her padayatra into Guntur and Krishna districts before entering Khammam district in Telangana again.
Sharmila began her Maro Praja Prasthanam on October 18 at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district, and entered Kurnool district on November 8 after completing her Padayatra in YSR and Anantapuram districts.
Raghuram said Sharmila would complete the scheduled distance of 200 km in Kurnool district on Thursday.
"The people of Mahabubnagar district are waiting to extend a hearty welcome to Sharmila when she makes her entry," he said.
Meanwhile, Sharmila completed walking a distance of 463.6 km by the end of Wednesday. (INN)
