AP Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), in an initiative to facilitate easy movement of hundreds of passengers leading to and from Vijayawada and its nearby locations, has decided to run special services between Vijayawada and the Shamshabad airport. Inaugurated on the 6th April at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, the service includes a daily round trip of a Garuda Volvo service bus carrying passengers between the international airport in Hyderabad, and Vijaywada.
Starting from April 6, a bus will start everyday at the airport at 6:30am and reach Vijayawada at 1:30pm. Halts will be made at LB Nagar in Hyderabad and Suryapet in Nalgonda district. Its return journey will start at 2:30pm from Vijayawada, and will end at 8:30pm at the Shamshabad airport.
Soon, towns Karimnagar, Kurnool, Warangal will also be added to the services.

It is difficult to catch the Bus to Vijayawada which starts 6.30am at RGIA .The international passengers arriving erly hrs it will take some time to clear their customs .If the departure time 7.30am is convenient.
Thanks to APSRTC service. It is my sincere suggestion if there is another bus service in evening between 5pm 8pm it will be convenient for some passengers who may travel locally too.
