The Telangana High Court dismissed the petitions by the company challenging the decision of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to order a probe into its affairs.
In a setback to Karvy Stock Broking Limited, the Telangana High Court dismissed the petitions filed by the company challenging the decision of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to order a probe by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) into the company's alleged financial irregularities, and the issuance of notices to the company.
A single judge bench of the Telangana High Court had earlier reserved its judgement in the petition filed by Karvy challenging the decision of the ministry to order a probe by the SFIO.
The court had directed the SFIO not to take any steps till it passed its order in the case.
