Senior Journalist Ch V M Krishna Rao Passes Away
His longest and most impactful role was as the chief of the news bureau for Deccan Chronicle, where he served for over 18 years.

Senior journalist and eminent political analyst Ch V M Krishna Rao passed away on Thursday.
He was 64, and had been fighting with cancer for the past year. He is survived by wife, son and daughter.
Known affectionately as "Babai" by his dear ones, Rao had earned respect throughout the journalistic community for his keen insights and unrelenting pursuit of truth over a remarkable 47-year career.
His journey began as a stinger in 1975, and he quickly rose through the ranks, leaving an indelible mark on the English and Telugu daily newspapers he contributed to, including Eenadu, Andhra Prabha, Andhra Bhoomi, Deccan Chronicle and The New Indian Express.

A range of VIPs including Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, several State cabinet ministers, Andhra Pradesh CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor Abdul Nazeer, and TPCC president Revanth Reddy, as also many people from the media fraternity, condoled the passing away of Krishna Rao and recalled his services in the field of journalism.
