Former Congress minister and senior Telangana leader Jeevan Reddy, on Monday, criticized the Seemandhra leaders 'destabilising' the administration by issuing harmful statements.
Speaking to media persons at the CLP, Jeevan Reddy alleged that a malicious campaign against Chief Minister K Rosaiah had been launched by Seemandhra politicians in the form of statements that are damaging the image of the Congress party and the government.
Warning of serious consequences if they did not stop this malicious campaign against the Chief Minister, the former minister urged the High Command to initiate action against the Seemandhra leaders.
Reddy said that the Seemandhra leaders had no moral right to criticize the Telangana Congress Leaders Forum for organizing a
Martyrs Meet to disburse financial assistance to victims' families who laid down their lives for the cause of Telangana statehood.
Jeevan Reddy stated that the Telangana Congress leaders had taken a bold and justifiable decision to disburse financial assistance to victims' family members.
The decision had been hailed by leaders across the political divide and had also earned a good response among Telangana people, Reddy said.
