Seemandhra Employees Can't Enter T-Secretariat: KCR
KCR advised Seemandhra employees to work in Andhra and avoid overstaying in Telangana. He also announced a special Telangana increment to all the T-employees.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief-Minister-in-waiting K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday categorically stated that employees from the Seemandhra region would not be allowed to enter the Secretariat of Telangana.
Addressing an interactive meeting with the Telangana Secretariat Employees Association near Kompally here, KCR advised the Seemandhra employees to work in Andhra and avoid overstaying in Telangana.
He said that nativity would be the basis of distribution. He said that all the injustices done to the Telangana employees would be undone by his government.
KCR announced that a special Telangana increment would be given to all the employees. He promised that the scale of the Telangana employees would be on par with those of the Central Government, and that his government would completely scrap the practice of temporary and outsourced employees. All employees would be permanent, he said, adding that a notification for fresh recruitment would be issued in the next 3 months.
Filling up of vacant posts, creation of equal employment opportunities, promotion through roster method, increase in maternity and childcare leaves and other concerns of employees would be given priority, KCR said. (INN)
