144, Crackers Ban At Public Places, For Counting
The Police have imposed Section 144 in the twin cities on May 16 in view of the counting of the votes of the elections to the Lok Sabha and the Assembly.
The City Police Commissioner has imposed Section 144 in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad in view of the counting of the votes on May 16 of the 2014 General Elections to the Lok Sabha and the A P Legislative Assembly.
The Commissioner said that the assembly of 5 or more persons is being prohibited in order to maintain public order and peace in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
He also imposed a ban on bursting of fire crackers / throwing of fireworks on public roads and at public places.
The prohibitory orders would remain in force in the twin cities for 24 hours from 6am on May 16.
The Commissioner has warned that any person violating the above orders will be liable for prosecution. (INN)
