Sealing Arunodaya Undemocratic: Telangana Congress

The Congress slammed the Telangana government for shutting down Arunodaya Vimala's organization.
Hyderabad | 3rd December 2016
Opposing the Telangana government's move to sealing the Arunodaya Organisation, the Congress today alleged that the former was willfully harassing Telangana United Front (TUF) leader Arunodaya Vimala, who supposedly had joined the fight to achieve Statehood for Telangana.

Speaking to the media on Saturday at Gandhi Bhavan, Congress leaders Mallu Ravi and D Sravan said that filing cases against Vimala was unbecoming of democratic process. The TRS government would face the ire of the people if it continued its oppressive tactics, they said.

They claimed that the previous united Andhra Pradesh government never resorted to such heinous attacks on Vimalakka unlike the current regime. Sravan reminded KCR that dictators always perished.

Official spokesperson Addanki Dayakar, who was present there, alleged that the KCR government was resorting to attacks on Kodandaram and Vimalakka because they failed to face both.

Official spokespersons Kathi Venkata Swamy, Kailash Netha, Indira Shoban and others participated in the press conference.
