Sandeep Shandilya Is New Hyderabad Police Commissioner

Shandilya has been appointed in place of C V Anand, who was transferred soon after the schedule for the elections to the Telangana Assembly was announced.

Senior IPS officer Sandeep Shandilya has been appointed as the Hyderabad Police Commissioner.

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari issued an order to this effect today.

Shandilya has been appointed in place of C V Anand, who was transferred soon after the schedule for the forthcoming elections to the Telangana Legislative Assembly was announced.

Before assuming the post of Hyderabad Police Commissioner, Shandilya, a 1993 batch officer, had served as director of the Telangana State Police Academy (TSPA).
