Union ministers, MPs, legislators and other leaders of the Congress party from the Seemandhra region will meet soon to discuss the proposed Million March being planned by the APNGOs (AP Non-Gazetted Officers) in Hyderabad.
Talking to reporters, Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal said that the meeting would be held in Hyderabad, in which arrangements for the proposed Million March would be discussed and finalised.
However, he said that the date and venue for the meeting is yet to be finalised. He added that Congress leaders would extend total support to the march.
Meanwhile, Lagadapati condemned the alleged attacks on Seemandhra employees by pro-Telangana activists, which reportedly took place while they were returning home after attending the APNGOs public meeting in Hyderabad on September 7.
He, along with Revenue Minister N Raghuveera Reddy and Congress MP Anantha Venkatarama Reddy, visited Apollo Hospital to meet Satyanarayana, a Revenue Department employee who was injured in the attack. Condemning the attack, Raghuveera Reddy described the act as inhuman. (INN)
