Seemandhra Legislators To Meet On Oct 17
Seemandhra Legislators Forum Convener S Sailajanath has said that the elected representatives of Seemandhra will meet on Oct 17 to discuss future plans.
State minister and Seemandhra Legislators Forum Convener S Sailajanath on Tuesday informed that the elected representatives from the coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions would meet on October 17 to discuss their future strategy.
Talking to reporters here, Sailajanath said that besides discussing the present situation, the Seemandhra legislators would finalise the strategy to be adopted in future to keep Andhra Pradesh united.
He reiterated that the struggle for Samaikyandhra would continue at any cost. He also alleged that some leaders were issuing statements to sabotage the movement and to create confusion among the people of the Seemandhra region.
Sailajanatha said that the Telugu people "will grow only if the state remains united". He said that the division of AP is not in the interest of any of the 3 regions of Telangana, coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema. (INN)
