YSRCP Leaders Launch Fast-Unto-Death
Rayachoti MLA Srikanth Reddy and Kadapa's former mayor Ravindranath Reddy launch a "fast unto death" to protest against the Centre's decision to bifurcate AP.
Rayachoti MLA Srikanth Reddy and Kadapa's former mayor Ravindranath Reddy launched a "fast unto death" in Kadapa on Monday, in protest against the Centre's decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh.
The YSRCP leaders announced that they would withdraw the fast only when the Centre reverses its decision on the formation of a separate Telangana state.
Meanwhile, YSRCP activists called for a Rayachoti bandh to express solidarity with the hunger strike.
Srikanth Reddy had resigned from his post some time back, and has been actively participating in the Samaikyandhra agitation since then. (INN)
