Congress party MLA and former minister Sabitha Indira Reddy on Tuesday spoke up on the issue of leaving the party to join its rival the TRS.
She said that the party high command had asked her to visit New Delhi and meet them. She had however not taken any decision on that, she said.
Expressing her displeasure over the distribution of tickets, she said that a lot of injustice had been done to her family in that process. She said that three family memebrs of TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy had got MLA tickets, but that her son Karthik Reddy was denied a ticket by the party.
She alleged that her son was also ignored in the organisation of party president Rahul Gandhi's public meeting at Shamshabad. Some leaders in the party were trying to end the political careers of her son and her deliberately, she claimed.
