There was another jolt for TSRTC employees' unions' JAC leader Aswathhama Reddy with the RTC management declining to sanction him additional general leave.
The management had already rejected an application from Reddy seeking six months' leave. He was directed to join the duty at the earliest.
Reddy has been warned that there will be further action if he fails to resume his duties.
Reddy was at the forefront of the TSRTC employees' 52-day strike late last year which hogged headlines even at the national level. Though supported by the Opposition parties, he lost the high-profile battle with KCR spectacularly, and KCR is likely clipping his wings now.
