Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Sunday condoled the sad demise of national archery coach Cherukuri Lenin who died in a road accident early morning near Ibrahimpatnam in Krishna district.
Expressing sorrow over the death of Lenin, the Chief Minister recalled that it was only on Saturday that he had been felicitated by the State government for the services he had rendered to the promotion of the sport. He had trained Ritul Chatterjee and Jignas who won medals in the recently held 19th Commonwealth Games.
It was unfortunate that budding archers from the State had lost a good coach, Rosaiah said.
The Chief Minister conveyed his deep felt sympathies to the members of the bereaved family.
