Revanth Reddy Urges Modi To Help Telangana
The CM along with Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka called on the PM in New Delhi, and brought many issues related to the Telangana to his notice.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend cooperation for the development of Telangana.
The CM along with Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka called on the Prime Minister and Union Home Minister Amit Shah separately in New Delhi, and brought many issues related to the Telangana to their notice.
Speaking with the media later, the CM said that he had met the PM and the Union Home Minister with the intention of maintaining good relations between the Central and State governments, ignoring politics.
"We talk politics only during elections. After that, our main agenda is to take the State on the path of progress. As part of the endeavour, we will take everyone's support," Reddy said.
The CM said that PM Modi had responded positively to the various proposals made by the Telangana government. He said that he had also urged Amit Shah to take some initiative to resolve all the issues pending under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, and other long-pending matters.
Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka too said that the CM and he had asked the PM and the Union Home Minister to protect the rights of Telangana and resolve all the issues pending under the AP Reorganisation Act.
"The coal mines in the vicinity of the Godavari river should be allotted to the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) without any auction. Similarly, other demands, including the sanction of an IIM to Hyderabad, the ITIR project, the reallocation of 5 villages merged into Andhra Pradesh to Telangana, the sanction of a Railway Coach Factory in Kazipet, the sanction of a Navodaya School for each district, allocation of 25 lakh houses, and the conversion all of the State's highways into national highways, were brought to the notice of the union government," Vikramarka said.
