TPCC president Revanth Reddy today slammed Telangana IT & Industries Minister K T Rama Rao alleging that the latter had cheated the realtors in the city in the name of removal of the restrictions imposed by GO No 111.

Referring to the GO No. 69 issued by the State government on April 12 for the removal of the restrictions imposed by the GO 111, the TPCC chief said that the High Court had issued stay orders on the cancellation of the controversial GO No 111 on July 16, 2007.

He said that those stay orders could not be cancelled until the HC's own further orders.

He said that thus the fresh GO No 69 issued by the State government would not be valid, given the existence of the 2007 stay orders of the High Court.

He also alleged that KTR was playing "dramas" on the issue only to please real estate mafia in the city.

He made the remarks on his official Twitter account.
