Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali today urged the Central government to repatriate Indians stranded in Saudi Arabia.

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali today urged the Centre to repatriate Indians stranded in Saudi Arabia for several years.

In a letter addressed to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Mahmood Ali urged her to take responsibility for the situation and make all possible efforts to bring them home.

Around 30% of the 9,000 workers stranded in Saudi hail from Telangana. They were reportedly left unpaid and unfed by the Saudi kingdom for more than 8 months after being laid off.
