Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has directed energy officials to reduce power cuts to domestic consumers.

The Chief Minister reviewed the power position in the state with energy officials, at his camp office, on Wednesday.

Officials informed the CM that they will be able to reduce power cuts within the next 2-3 days.

They also informed him that the Kakatiya Thermal Plant in Bhupalpally, which was closed due to technical problems, was re-started on Wednesday. As a result, production of 500 MW will be added from Thursday. (INN)
