Majlis-e-Ulema-e-Deccan president Syed Mohammed Qubulullah Quadri Shuttari gave the official declaration after the religious Ulema (learned men) met at Hussaini Building, Mozam Jahi Market.
Jamia Nizamia Vice-Chancellor Mufti Khaleel Ahmed, Head of the Department Fatawa Mufti Azeemuddin, Maulana Akbar Nizamuddin and United Sunni Federation of India president Maulana Syed Shah Auliya Hussain, and others were present at the meeting.
Meanwhile, the state government has given orders permitting Muslim employees, including teachers and outsourcing employees, to leave their offices at 4pm throughout the month of Ramzan, except when their presence is required in case of emergencies.
