The hostility between senior Congress politician V Hanumantha Rao and film director Ram Gopal Varma took a serious turn today.
Reacting to Hanumantha Rao's statement that he would not allow Ram Gopal Varma to come to Hyderabad, the latter said that he was very much in Hyderabad now.
"HR sir What do u mean u won't let me step into Hyderabad? I am right now in Hyderabad only (sic)," the director posted on Facebook.
Varma also dared VHR saying that he would watch Arjun Reddy at Prasads IMax at 10:30 am tomorrow. "HR Saar, nenu repu poddhunna prasad IMAX lo 10.30 morning show ki vasthunna..See u there. Basthi Me Sawaal," he added. He also said that he awaited giving a passionate kiss to VHR that would put even the
Arjun Reddy liplock to shame.
The director also asked VHR to try to stop the youth from coming to the theatres to watch Arjun Reddy if he had the guts. "HR gaaru nannu Hyderabad loki adugu pettakunda cheyyadam kanna meeku dammunte mee manavala vayassu ammayilni abbayilni ARJUN REDDY theatrearlaloki adugu pettakundaa cheyyyandi," he posted.
The fracas between the two started when early this week VHR and his lackeys tore off posters of the film Arjun Reddy showing the lead couple in a liplock, from RTC buses. RGV posted on his Facebook account, "My request to Vijay Deverakonda is to tear off the clothes of Hanumanth Rao but my fear is children might get scared seeing HR like that." He followed it up with more nasty comments. And VHR responded earlier today that he would not let RGV step in Hyderabad.
Arjun Reddy hero Vijay Devarakonda, too, used abusive language against his critics on the occasion of release of his film's songs recently. Reacting to it, music director Devi Sri Prasad indirectly said that it was not correct to use such abusive language on stage.
