BJP legislator from Goshamahal Raja Singh today made sensational comments against his own party's leadership once again.
Alleging that his opponents in his Assembly constituency were being given important posts in the party, Singh shot off a letter to the state party president Dr K Laxman asking the latter to remove him from the party if the party felt that he was causing embarrassment to the leadership.
Since some time, there has been a cold war between Singh and the Telangana BJP leadership. Singh stayed away from the party activities when Kishan Reddy was President. However, he turned active again after Dr K Laxman took over as state party chief.
Singh had reportedly complained against the style of functioning of the state party leaders during the recent visit of national party president Amit Shah to Hyderabad. He alleged that those who were working against him in the constituency were being given plum posts without his knowledge, and that group politics had increased in the party corroding its image in the state.
