Satya Sai Baba's Health Stable
The condition of Puttaparthi Sai Baba, who was put on a supportive respiratory device on Friday night because he had breathing troubles, is said to be all right now.
The followers of the world-renowned spiritual leader, Satya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi, heaved a sigh of relief on Saturday when the doctors attending to him declared that his condition was stable. Sai Baba had trouble breathing on Friday night, and was put on a supportive respiratory device, said Dr. A N Safaya, Director, Sathya Sai Institute Of Higher Medical Sciences.
A panel of medical experts has been flown in from Bangalore to monitor the health of the 85-year-old spiritual doyen. "His clinical parameters are satisfactory and his health condition is good," said Dr. Safaya, and added, "It won't be long before he resumes the darshans to his devotees."
Earlier, on March 28th, the religious guru was admitted to the Prashanthigram Super Specialty Hospital, Puttaparthi, after he had complained of giddiness, and lung and chest congestion. Sai Baba underwent a Cath Lab Procedure on the same day, and a pacemaker was implanted in his heart.
