Officials of the Anti Corruption Bureau of the CBI, on Wednesday, nabbed a Provident Fund office employee red-handed while he was accepting a bribe from a complainant for doing an official favour at Danavaipeta, Rajahmundry, in West Godavari district.
According to ACB-CBI sources, the officials caught PF Office employee Venkateshwara Rao while accepting a bribe of Rs. 13,000.
Venkateshwara Rao had demanded bribe from a person for doing an official favour. The victim had approached the ACB-CBI officials and registered a complaint with them.
Accordingly, the ACB-CBI Officials trapped the tainted official with the help of the complainant, and caught him red-handed.
