In a rather interesting move, the TRS conducted a mock polling today for its MLAs in Telangana Bhavan in a TRS Legislature Party meeting.
The meeting was held under the leadership of its boss and Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, and the mock polling to apparently to ensure that not even a single vote would go wasted.
It is surprising that the party thought that people who are MLAs and MPs needed to be trained to vote correctly.
Later, the Chief Minister introduced the TRSV state executive members to the MLAs. KCR said that the MLAs needed to extend their cooperation to the members at the constituency level.
Meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh, the TDP and YSR Congress Party directed their MLAs and MPs to reach Amaravathi by Sunday evening.
Chief Minister and TDP national president Chandrababu Naidu will convene a meeting with the TDP MLAs on Monday morning at 8 am at the Velagapudi secretariat. He will explain the polling process for the Presidential election to be held later that day. Later, Naidu will cast his vote first, at 10 am.
The YSRCP MLAs, too, will reach Vijayawada by Sunday evening. They will meet under the leadership of party Chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to discuss the voting system.
