President Pranab Mukherjee left for New Delhi on Saturday upon completing his ten-day Southern sojourn.
Governor E S L Narasimhan, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his Cabinet colleagues, besides Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya and other senior officials were present at the Hakimpet Air Force station to bid the President adieu.
Mukherjee stayed at the Rashtrapati Nilayam, the erstwhile Nizam palace built in 1860, sprawling across 90 acres, and now serving as a presidential retreat.
During his stay, he had attended a convocation ceremony at the Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad, and also addressed centenary celebrations of Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry.
An "At Home" reception was also hosted at the Rashtrapati Nilayam for senior dignitaries, Ministers, officials and journalists on Friday.
