KCR Invites President For OU Centenary Fete

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao invited Pranab Mukherjee for the Centenary Celebrations of Osmania University scheduled to be held for in April.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today invited President Pranab Mukherjee for the Centenary Celebrations of Osmania University (OU) scheduled to be held for three days in April.

The Chief Minister, who is in the national capital for couple of days, called on the President and requested him to grace the centenary celebrations of the OU to be held from April 26 to 28. He also invited Union Minister Prakash Javadekar.

Apart from inviting the President and the Union Minister, the TRS supremo apprised the President of the post-demonetization situation and political scenario in Telangana.

He urged Javadekar to sanction an IIM for Telangana as was promised by the Centre, and also a Kendriya Vidyalaya for each district in the new State. The Union Minister was also urged to allot funds for OU's development.
