Pranay Kumar Murder: Congress Suspends Karim

K Jana Reddy announced that the Congress was suspending the Miryalaguda town Congress president, whose was facing allegations that he was part of the honour killing crime.

Former Congress Legislature Party leader K Jana Reddy called on murdered dalit youth Pranay Kumar's family members today at Miryalaguda.

He consoled Pranay's wife Amrutha Varshini, and enquired about the incident.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy announced that the Congress was suspending Miryalaguda town Congress president Karim, whose was facing allegations that he was part of the incident.

He also demanded that the state government to provide protection to Amrutha by punishing the murderers of Pranay severely. These kinds of murders were dangerous to the society, he said.

Separately, Arunodaya Vimalakka called on Amrutha's and Pranay's family members on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Vimalakka too demanded that the government punish the culprits severely.
