Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday alleged that the industry and agriculture sectors have been totally neglected during Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s tenure in the State.
Addressing a meeting of the joint action committee of micro, small and medium enterprises at Indira Park, the Naidu proclaimed that the Telugu Desam Party had addressed the power crisis efficiently by setting up the Electricity Regulatory Commission, and had ensured nine hours of power supply a day to the agriculture sector even during critical times. He accused the government of having failed to supply even seven hours of power supply to farmers in the State.
Stating that there was total chaos and anarchy in the power sector due to the wrong policies adopted by the government, Naidu asked the Chief Minister to visit the industrial estates, particularly the small scale sector, to understand the ground realities properly. (INN)
