Ankusam Rami Reddy Passes Away
Telugu film actor Rami Reddy passed away this morning at the Krishna Institute Of Medical Sciences (KIMS) while undergoing treatment for a kidney related ailment.

Rami Reddy, the favourite anti-hero of Tollywood, passed away at 11am this morning at the Krishna Institute Of Medical Sciences (KIMS) while undergoing treatment for a kidney related ailment.
According to sources, the actor's kidneys had been malfunctioning for the last few years, and his health condition had deteriorated considerably.
The 52-year-old actor, whose endearing Telangana dialect had won the hearts of many, had acted in over 250 films in a career spanning 20 years.
Rami Reddy, a native of the Chittoor district, was a journalist before his stint with the Telugu film industry. The actor is said to have completed his post-graduation from the Osmania University, Hyderabad.
The veteran actor had debuted as "spot anna" in the Rajasekhar-starrer Ankusam (1990). The film's director, Kodi Ramakrishna went on to feature Rami Reddy in many a film. The much-loved villain of Tollywood had terrorized audiences with his roles in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Malayalm and Bhojpuri films.
Some of his prominent Telugu films are Ankusam, Gaayam, Anaganaga Oka Roju, Ammoru, Peddarikam, Osey Ramulamma, Kshana Kshanam and Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari.
Rami Reddy was last seen in Marmam (2010), a bilingual film made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.
N Chandrababu Naidu and prominent personalities from the Telugu film industry are reported to have sent messages of condolence to the late Rami Reddy's family members. The actor's last rites will be conducted on Thursday evening, a media report said.
