Assembly Speaker Meets Anganwadi Workers
Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy met the Anganwadi workers in three mandals of Kamareddy district today.

Telangana Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy today met the Anganwadi teachers and ayahs of Banswada, Birpur and Nasrallabad mandals of Kamareddy district.
He also distributed new clothes to the workers, and expressed his appreciation for their commitment to their work.
Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker highlighted the importance of a nutritious diet in ensuring that the people remained healthy, and praised the TRS government for doing its bit to provide healthy food through its Anganwadis.
"Providing nutritious food to the pregnant women in the state will result in the birth of healthy children, and will increase the chances of the babies growing up into healthy individuals. The state government has done much to provide nutritious food to the pregnant women and growing children of Telangana through the anganwadi centres," he said.
Meanwhile, the government has also taken steps to organise a job mela for the people of the district later this month. The District Rural Development Agency, in collaboration with the Reliance Foundation, will conduct the job mela at the Sandeepani Degree College on February 10.
Several companies from the banking, pharma, retail, technical, marketing, and tele-calling sectors, will reportedly participate in the mela. Reports also indicate that some big names, including Apollo Pharmacy, HDFC Bank, Jio Fibernet, Shriram Life Insurance and Flipkart, will be among those recruiting employees at the fair.
Candidates aged between 18 to 30, with at least a SSC certificate, will be able to apply for most of the jobs on offer. Those seeking work in the the pharmacy and nursing sectors must however have a graduation degree.
