Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday expressed hopes that the Parliament would pass the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill 2013.
"I hope that Parliament, in its wisdom, will be able to clear the Telangana bill," he told reporters in Delhi. He also said that there are many other important Bills to be passed during the vote-on-account session, which will be the last one for the 15th Lok Sabha. "There are many important bills - the anti-corruption bill, women's reservation bill and the communal violence bill. I sincerely hope that Parliament, in its wisdom, will allow transaction of business in the House," he said. (INN)
