BJP MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Sunday appealed to Seemandhra MLAs not to obstruct the tabling of the Telangana Bill in the state Legislative Assembly.
Speaking to media persons, Nagam said that the Bill should be tabled in the Assembly on Monday itself, and that the debate should start immediately.
He said that the BJP is in favour of a smooth division of Andhra Pradesh, and added that this is possible only if Seemandhra MLAs extend their cooperation and participate in the debate.
He said that it is the responsibility of the leader of the House Kiran Kumar Reddy and opposition Leader N Chandrababu Naidu to ensure tabling of the Telangana Bill in the Assembly for debate.
Nagam feared that if the Assembly fails to debate the Bill in the ongoing session, the Centre would get a reason to delay Telangana formation further. (INN)
