PIL In High Court Against Demolition Of Secretariat

Co-founder of the Telangana Jana Samithi P L Visweswar Rao today filed a PIL against the demolition of the secretariat building complex.

Co-founder of the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) P L Visweswar Rao today filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the demolition of the secretariat building complex.

In his lunch motion petition, he urged the HC to issue orders for the stalling of the demolition process, citing violation of the Covid-19 rules.

He also said that the demolition was causing a lot of air pollution in the state capital, and that the solid waste management rules were also being violated by the government in the demolition.
