The Telangana High Court today again heard the petition against the government blocking the media from covering the Secretariat buildings' demolition.
The petitioner claimed that the government was disallowing the media coverage from even atop the neighbouring buildings, and would not give any details about the progress of the demolition.
The court rapped the government for denying the media coverage of the demolition.
To this the government counsel Prasad said that he would urge the government to allow a media visit to the site.
He also informed the court that the government would give details to the media on the demolition of the buildings through a bulletin.
The counsel said that there may be dangers if the media were allowed to the site and Covid-19 norms' violations resulted.
The court then posted the case to Saturday for the next hearing.
