The song "Kodaka Koteswara Rao" from Pawan Kalyan's much-awaited film
Agnyaathavaasi landed in controversy with one local lawyer named Koteshwara Rao alleging that the song hurt his sentiments.
The lawyer from Andhra Pradesh lodged a complaint with the Machavaram police today demanding the removal of the song from the film.
He also demanded that the police initiate action against Pawan Kalyan and director Trivikram Srinivas, and the story writer and producer of the film.
The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 10.
Meanwhile, on the eve of Sankranti, the Telangana government granted permission for Agnyaathavaasi to have screenings starting from 8 am January 10 to 17 in the entire state by relaxing condition 43 of the Form-B license issued under the AP Cinema (Regulation) Rules, 1970.
