Hyderabad | 31st October 2019
Jana Sena President and Tollywood superstar Pawan Kalyan today extended support to the striking TSRTC employees.

Kalyan said that he would try to meet Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to try to resolve the issue, and would join the protests of the TSRTC employee unions' JAC if he failed to get an appointment with the CM.

He also appealed to the employees not to resort to extreme steps.

Kalyan made the announcement after the TSRTC employee unions' JAC leaders met him at his party office and urged his support for the strike.

"I have great respect for KCR, and will try to get a discussion specifically on the RTC strike. The government cannot remain stubborn on the issue as the problem is not just of the 48,000 striking RTC employees, but also that of the people. If I do not get to meet the CM, I will join the RTC employees' protest programs," he said.

He appealed to the Telangana CM to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
