Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday urged the AP police to not book cases against the farmers agitating against the move being mulled by the State government to shift the capital from Amaravathi.
Speaking to mediapersons during his tour to the capital, Kalyan extended his party's total support to the agitation.
He said that as the farmers had given their valuable lands to the State government for building the capital, they had every right to protest against any move by the government to go back on that decision now.
The Jana Sena chief asked the State government to concede the demands of the farmers. He warned that no government that harassed farmers had lasted for long in the history of the State and the country.
