VH, NJR, Others Take Oath
52 members who took oath on the first day of the monsoon session of parliament.

5 of the 6 Rajya Sabha members who were declared elected unopposed from the state were among the 52 members who took oath on the first day of the monsoon session of parliament.
Former chief minister Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy, senior leader V Hanumantha Rao, former bureaucrat J D Seelam from the Congress, and industrialist Y Sujana Chowdhary and Gundu Sudharani from the Telugu Desam Party, were administered the oath.
Union Minister Of State For Environment Jairam Ramesh did not take the oath, as he was not present.
BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu also took his oath, along with union ministers Ambika Soni and Anand Sharma, Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan, Samajwadi Party spokesperson Mohan Singh, industrialist Vijay Mallya, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, BSP leader Satish Chandra Mishra and noted lawyer Ram Jethmalani.
