Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy will participate in former minister P Sudarshan Reddy's Maha Padayatra, which was being taken up from Kolluru to Bodhan for 60 km, demanding the revival of Nizam Sugars.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, Reddy said the State government, which had promised that it would reopen the factory within 100 days of coming to power, was yet to pick up the matter two and half years later.
Due to this, around 10,000 sugarcane farmers and hundreds of factory workers had lost jobs.
Stating that he would participate on the last day of the Padayatra, the TPCC Chief said that the fight would continue till the TRS government reopened the Nizam Sugar Factory.
